Odd Mood, boyfriend mini rant?
My boyfriend is not the kindest, nor the most handsome. He drives me absolutely crazy, and is terrible when he drinks. He is at times self-absorbed and inattentive. I am furious with him at the moment.
However, I must keep in mind that he is one of the only people who can make me laugh uncontrollably; who is comfortable enough with me to pee while I am in the shower and have a conversation; who actually listens when talking politics and does his research to help support his case; who has the balls to take the battery out of the xbox controller when he knows I need to go to sleep; who dances with my mom at the Firefighter dance; who buys me jewelry not because it is easy, but because he “doesn’t want to buy me anything I will get attached to, lest I lose it”; who sleeps with me in my bed with the cat, even though he is allergic… yeah, that is my boy. I may be pissed at him, perhaps want his blood right now, but I could never hate him.
Especially considering he never remembers his worst insults in a drunken stupor.
