I'm Sam.

I like languages. I speak English and tiny drops of Japanese and French and even Latin, if you get my drunk enough. I like to do artsy things in my spare time, which is pretty nonexistent. My camera is my baby, though I'd like to do more mixed media and stop being such a stick in the mud.

I am a volunteer firefighter, and yes I am probably the shortest firefighter ever recorded in history. Trust me, finding gear for this body was NOT easy. Joking aside, though, it is immensely rewarding.

I live on a barrier island called Fire Island (off of LI), and am a pretty stereotypical Islander, which I would like to call the four S living: Surfing, Smoking, Swimming, Sex(ing).

My life, how I live it, and my thinking has radically changed in the past couple of months. And I like it.
